A CVR Session is Like Writing Yourself a Sticky Note

One of the best definitions of CVR came from a satisfied client, who said, “CVR is like this: my body is asleep but my mind is awake.” CVR is a natural state, very much like sleep. In CVR, you are going to be provided with positive and valuable information and if you relate to this information you will want to apply it when you are awake.  This is called a post CVR suggestion.  It works like a sticky note.   You write yourself a little note and post it somewhere as a reminder.

The light and sound pulse rate shifts from wide-awake beta to a dreaming drowsy state of theta as the session progresses.  Your brain wave activity will follow the pulse rate of the NXTLynk™ system and fall into synch with the changes.  At the same time, your unconscious mind learns to rehearse the changes or improvements you desire.

Your brain works in four "frequencies," known as Beta, Alpha, Theta and Delta. These four frequencies determine whether you are focused (Beta), relaxed and creative (Alpha), deeply meditative (Theta), or asleep (Delta). Your brain naturally experiences all of these states at one time or another every day. 

Research has shown that significant relaxation and creative visualization take place at the Alpha and Theta levels, so most CVR sessions will guide you through one or both of those states before bringing you back to Beta, a state of normal wakefulness.
